Kayak Rental Locations and Rates
We rent kayaks from the following locations:
Kloiya Bay Our recommended location for paddlers of all abilities. This pristine inlet is sheltered from the wind and is full of North Coast sea life and wildlife. Located 15 minutes from Prince Rupert by car, you can paddle 7km of untouched coastline and feel much further away from civilization than you are. Our launch site also has a nice picnic area, fire pit, and beach shelters. | Cow Bay/ Prince Rupert Harbour The quickest place to get in the water if you are already in downtown Prince Rupert. We rent kayaks from our Seahorse Trading location in Cow Bay. Paddle across the harbour in 20 minutes, to enjoy the beach at McNichol Creek, or follow the shoreline West to Metlakatla Pass. Strong tides, exposure to wind/waves, plus boat traffic means paddlers here should have some experience. |
We also deliver kayaks to locations on request for a small fee (ex. Fairview Docks, Seal Cove, Dianna Lake, Taylor Lake, Pruhomme Lake, Rainbow Lake, Port Edward, Skeena River).
