Introduction to Whitewater Paddling

About the Course (Maximum 5 people): 

Consisting of 5 lessons (2 hours paddling each) over a 1 week period, this course allows you to progress from the swimming pool, to the lake, to the creek, and finally to the iconic Butze Tidal Rapids! Learn the fundamental skills necessary to discover Prince Rupert’s unique whitewater playground!

Kayaking Foundations Clinic

About the Course (Maximum 10 people):

We combine a pool session in whitewater kayaks with an outdoor session in sea kayaks to cover all paddle basics including paddle strokes, wet exits, self and assisted rescues as well as trip planning fundamentals. Participants will leave ready to enjoy Prince Rupert’s world class paddling opportunities with more confidence, efficiency, and safety.

Join this awesome youth camp for 5 days of paddling and outdoor education/fun including: kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, survival, leadership, and practical skills such as fire-making, tarp-shelters, orienteering, and natural discoveries of flora and fauna!
